Preventative Maintenance:

Most people don’t even think about servicing their overhead door until it is not operational, and a costly service call is required to repair the situation for business to continue as usual.  An improperly serviced door may cause cables, rollers, or springs to break, which can cost your company thousands of dollars and hours of lost time.   Fix It Fast, LTD offers a preventative maintenance plan (PM) for any type of business from retail, manufacturing, auto repair,  and exporting to ensure that daily operations are not hindered, and to prevent those costly service calls.  Our preventative service plans include:

• Lubrication of all moving parts.  This alone decreases the wear of components and increases the life expectancy of your overhead door system
• Adjustment of springs.  Depending on the mis-adjustment levels, we can better determine how much life is left in your spring(s) before it breaks in certain circumstances.
• Tightening of loose hardware.  By manufacturer specification, all hardware is supposed to be torqued/tightened to a certain level.  A loose bolt can cause malfunction of the door.  Our PM will prevent this type of malfunction.
• Inspection of cables.  A frayed cable may snap under certain circumstances, which can not only make the door non-functional, but may also cause the door to come out of the tracks and permanently damage the door to a point where it is not repairable.  A typical door replacement may cost over $5,000 – $10,000 to replace.  The cost is far more than the $45/door than we charge for a PM.
